“100 years of change” – Series of six talks

Historian and Lecturer Sean Collins M.A. will present a talk on the Irish War of Independence 1919-1921. He will examine the background to the war, the crucial events that lead to the outbreak of war and explore some of the personalities involved in this momentous period in modern Irish history.
Sean is a published historian, known for his radio broadcasts on historical affairs from the Williamite Wars to the outbreak of our modern troubles. He is a graduate of University College, Dublin and an Alumni of Boston College.
