As part of our ‘Investing in Community Leadership’ programme, we’re delighted to announce ‘Diploma in Community Development Practice’ open for applications. Working with NUI Galway, our partners Rural Community Network plans to bring the Pre-Graduate Diploma in Community Development Practice to the region. The 32-week Diploma course begins September 2021.
A practical course, preparing those taking part to explore the full complement of issues facing the voluntary and community sector. Modules include Good Practice in Community Development, Understanding Group Work, Understanding Policy, Research, and elements of Peacebuilding.
This course is aimed at those who wish to improve their understanding in Community Development and may also support people who are looking to gain a formal qualification in Community Development for career progression in the sector.
Closing date 10th August.
As it is part of ‘Investing in the West’ those from the Fermanagh, Omagh, Strabane, Derry/Londonderry areas will be given first priority.
