Housing Supply Strategy Call for Evidence

The Department for Communities is developing a new Housing Supply Strategy.  The strategy is intended to provide a long-term framework for the development of policy, interventions and action plans to deliver the right homes in the right locations, to help meet current and foreseeable housing needs and demands.  As part of the development of the Housing Supply Strategy the Minister has issued a “call for evidence”.

RCN is hosting a workshop for RCN member groups and stakeholders to give their views on housing supply issues in rural communities.  If you have views on housing issues such as:

  • Housing provision (including social, affordable, private rented and homelessness);
  • Homelessness;
  • Creating sustainable communities;
  • Planning;
  • Provision of infrastructure/services to support housing;
  • Innovation; or
  • Housing and environmental issues

and you want to help shape the Strategy get in touch.
