Future Schools Project – Parent Event (online)

News

We would like to invite parents of pre-school and primary aged children from across Northern Ireland to an online event (via Zoom) on

15 September 7.30-9.00pm

to learn more about this project and to share their views on education and school provision.

Researchers from Ulster University will present interim findings from the Future Schools project – these will include findings from a NI wide parent survey and previous parent conversations.  There will also be an opportunity for participants to feedback their views on primary school provision to the project.

The Future Schools project is funded by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland and involves a collaboration between researchers from the UNESCO Centre, School of Education, Ulster University and the Integrated Education Fund. One of the aims of the project is to give parents a voice regarding sustainable primary school provision. The project team are also developing a pathway resource to support communities to work together in order to improve school sustainability in their area.
