What is the training about?

  • This one day certificated training programme covers:
  • legal and policy context for safeguarding children and adults
  • awareness of vulnerability
  • awareness of abuse issues
  • procedures for reporting concerns
  • procedures for creating a safe environment and assessing and managing risk
  • confidentiality
  • code of behaviour for staff/volunteers.

This training is interactive and participative and where participants will learn through presentation, group work and discussion.

Who is the training for?
This integrated training programme is aimed at those who engage with children, young people and adults at risk.

Who delivers the training?
Keeping Children Safe training is delivered by qualified and
accredited trainers with experience of safeguarding issues.
