New Research Investigating the Impact of Volunteering
New Research Investigating the Impact of Volunteering on Health & Wellbeing
The 'Unlocking Potential Project' in conjunction with the University of Ulster is embarking on an exciting new study focused on measuring the impact of volunteering on the health of the 60+ age group. From March to September 2010 the project will be asking organisations to simply administer a questionnaire to newly recruited volunteers aged 60+. The research findings will provide local evidence which will be used to influence decision makers, improve organisational practice and promote volunteering. By taking part your organisation will be contributing to a major piece of research with the potential to be of influence at an international level. It will also give organisations access to free training on volunteer management practice and research techniques.
