to develop, manage and co-ordinate RCN's work on policy and research, advocating for sustainable change through enhanced governance and rural policy agendas contributing to RCN's role as an effective voice for rural communities.

Duration of contracts: initially to December 2010 with probable extension to September 2012 (subject to funding).

Rural Community Network is Northern Ireland's leading regional rural voluntary organisation assisting rural communities to address issues of poverty, social exclusion, inequality and discrimination through a community development methodology. This regional Peace III programme will see dedicated peace-building and anti-racism work carried out with local communities and institutions.
The county specific Rural Enablers will develop and implement targeted peace building and community relations interventions in rural communities through a community development approach.
